Reviewing My Experience with Electric Muscle Stimulation Training

TL;DR Although EMS isn’t a new concept, I think this modality of training will potentially grow in popularity as a fad. You “feel” like you’re getting more of a workout because you’re more sore and you feel more activation. However, in alignment with the conclusions drawn from research findings, I don’t think electromyostimulation training is superior to training without e-stim technology.

Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

TL;DR How I’m prioritizing my wellness on a budget during tough times. The alternative, not taking care of ourselves, never serves us and can set us farther back. I recently got the flu and it was my body forcing me to slow down and really prioritize taking care of me. We don’t need to run ourselves ragged to get to the point where our body forces us to slow down. We can – and are always allowed to – take care of ourselves. No matter how wild life gets. 

Remember: if you don’t make time for your wellness you will be forced to make time for your illness.
