Lately my #1 nutrition tip to everyone has been to up your protein.
Yes, eat Organic. Yes, limit processed foods. Yes, eat fiber.
But if you're going to start tracking anything, start tracking protein.
In my opinion, unless otherwise medically advised, everyone should be aiming for 75-100 g of protein a day as a new minimum standard.
Start to see if you're at 50 g of protein a day. If not, work up to that amount. After a week or two, work up to 75 g of protein a day. Then, depending on your activity level or what's available to you that day try to stay at a minimum of 75-100 g of protein a day.
