Mindfulness ✪
To be conscious or aware of something
To go along with the busyness mindfulness I had in the Monday Momentum from a couple weeks ago, I noticed a lot of these Irish Proverbs are about being present and making the most of what you have.
So I wanted to revisit this idea and really encourage you to reflect if you haven't already: How are you being intentional with your time?
Are you working on being present? Are you enjoying the emptiness instead of being busy for the sake of being busy? Have you decided on a more meaningful way to invest your time yet and begun to intentionally spend your time that way?
Mentionable ✪
Refer to something briefly without going into detail. Important or noteworthy, memorable
It's that time of year again: allergy season. Thought this podcast could be a timely listen for most! Jill had Dr. Amy Shah on and she broke down allergies and treatment methods, especially safe treatment methods.
PLUS the end also includes a really helpful tidbit about moving after meals. I've really wanted to educate people on the importance of moving after your meals because once you understand the mechanisms of blood sugar, the effects on our health, and how we can improve this - walking after your meals is a simple thing we can add to our day that should really help reduce our chances of metabolic disease!
Especially now that it's starting to get warmer out and should be lighter outside for longer, I highly encourage you to do a quick after dinner stroll even if it's only 10 minutes!
Motivation ✪
Meant to inspire: being mentally stimulated to do or feel something
