Mindfulness ✪
To be conscious or aware of something
"What is something you would be proud to fail on, if you had the courage to attempt it?"
I love this question James Clear posed in his newsletter because I'm currently in a season where I want to pursue a dream that I used to be terrified to fail at, but now think I'd be proud to say I went for it regardless of the result.
It takes a lot of courage to try something new when the stakes are high to fail, but even if you were to fail I like the re-frame that it could be something you're proud of still. What's yours? How can you get support to start going after it?
Mentionable ✪
Refer to something briefly without going into detail. Important or noteworthy, memorable
As I mentioned, I'm working on getting into Matcha once I learned how packed of antioxidants and catechins it is. Here's a Healthline article about 7 benefits of Matcha if you're curious.
As a refresher on why antioxidants are important to have in our diet: throughout our day we're exposed to free radicals either from our environment or as a result of our body's natural processes like eating and exercising which causes oxidative stress to our body. When oxidative stress and free radicals build up this can contribute to our aging or risk of disease. Antioxidants help our body take care of those damaged cells and fight off the oxidative stress. Antioxidants can be produced by our body, but we can also consume them in our diet to help boost our body's defenses.
Motivation ✪
Meant to inspire: being mentally stimulated to do or feel something
