"Say it takes 10,000 hours to become an expert at something, this roughly equates to 2 hours per day for 15 years. Assuming you live to until you're 90, that means you can have enough time to become an expert in 4-8 things in your lifetime." -- Mark Manson

I did Mel Robbin's end of year reflection "​Make 2024 Your Best Year​" workbook in December 2023 and I swear it completely changed the way I approached 2024. However, life has gotten in the way and I've fallen off the wagon with some of my goals. Realizing we're halfway through 2024, it's tempting to just allow myself to get caught up in the now and come back to the goals later. I'm trying to give myself grace while I'm in such an insane busy season while encouraging myself it isn't too late to reassess how you're tracking and how you may want to re-prioritize to finish 2024 in a way you're proud of. So I'm so thankful Mel Robbins did a second workbook at the beginning of Q2 to help us get back on track, even though we're about to close out Q2 I think ​this podcast discussing how the workbook works is worth another listen now​ to gauge where you are and where you want to go and how you'll get there.
