To be conscious or aware of something

I’ve realized the past couple month’s, particularly while in my “ The Termination Plan ” era & going through massive amounts of change and transformation, that I’m in a bit of an identity crisis.

An exercise I do when I’m overwhelmed by this identity crisis is “rewriting my narrative”.

Lately, for me, “Rewriting Your Narrative” looks like defining and aligning the ways you show up with who you want to be.

I invite you to try a (re)writing your narrative exercise this week.

It can be as simple as picking a wellness goal like “I want to be more fit”. Next, define the ways a person who is fit shows up and then ensure your actions align.

 This Guardian article  was sent to me by my dear ol’ dad. It's about "Hope Molecules" aka myokines that are released when we exercise.

Myokines have come up in my studies before, but the TL;DR is that myokines are among the many chemicals secreted into our bloodstream, along with dopamine, when our muscles contract. As a result we see amazing benefits from acting as an antidepressant, reducing inflammation, combating aging, and so much more. My favorite take away from the article: “it’s not just about staying a certain weight or being a certain size: it’s about keeping our bodies functioning and strong.”
